Minnesota High School Basketball - Mound-Westonka nips St. Anthony Village
January 11, 2022: Mound, MN 55364 Mound-Westonka White Hawks (Mound, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting St. Anthony Village Huskies (Minneapolis, MN), 64-62 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mound-Westonka upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The White Hawks host Holy Family Catholic (Victoria, MN) to play the Fire in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 13. The Fire go into the bout with a record of 6-6. Holy Family Catholic won 70-64 in their recent league bout against Breck (Minneapolis, MN)
Next up, the Huskies play the Academy of Holy Angels Stars (Richfield, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 14. St. Anthony Village will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Stars go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 95-76 league win over Richfield (Richfield, MN).
