Seward Bluejays (Seward, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Schuyler Warriors (Schuyler, NE), 56-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Seward upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Bluejays travel to Waverly (Waverly, NE) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 15. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 9-3.

Next up, the Warriors play the West Point-Beemer Cadets (West Point, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 13. Schuyler will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Cadets go into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 40-37 non-league win over Battle Creek (Battle Creek, NE).
