New Mexico High School Basketball - St. Pius X fells Bernalillo
January 11, 2022: Bernalillo, NM 87004 St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM), 34-21 in a non-league bout.
With the win, St. Pius X upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Sartans host Grants (Grants, NM) to clash with the Pirates in a bout on Tuesday, January 18. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Grants lost 72-59 in their recent non-league bout against Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM)
Next up, the Spartans clash with the Belen Eagles (Belen, NM) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 13. Bernalillo will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record.
