Kansas High School Basketball - Council Grove overwhelms Chase County
January 11, 2022: Council Grove, KS 66846 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Council Grove Braves (Council Grove, KS) and the visiting Chase County Bulldogs (Cottonwood Falls, KS), saw Council Grove's basketball squad wallop Chase County by a tally of 49-9.
With the victory, Council Grove improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Central Heights (Richmond, KS) to confront the Vikings in a Flint Hills challenge on Friday, January 14. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Central Heights lost 42-26 in their recent league challenge against Mission Valley (Eskridge, KS)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Mission Valley Vikings (Eskridge, KS) in a Flint Hills challenge, on Friday, January 14. Chase County will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 43-26 non-league loss to Osage City (Osage City, KS).
