January 11, 2022: Central Village, CT 06332 The East Lyme Vikings (East Lyme, CT) basketball felled the host Plainfield Panthers (Central Village, CT), 44-31 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Vikings (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Norwich Free Academy (Norwich, CT). The Wildcats go into the Eastern Connecticut - 1 test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, Norwich Free Academy thwarted Windham (Willimantic, CT), 40-34, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Stonington for a non-league test on Friday, January 14. Plainfield will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 78-40 non-league loss to New London (New London, CT). The Bears record now stands at 3-4.
