North Carolina High School Basketball - O'Neal overwhelms Salem Baptist Christian
January 11, 2022: Winston-Salem, NC 27101 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the O'Neal Falcons (Southern Pines, NC) and the host Salem Baptist Christian Vikings (Winston-Salem, NC), saw O'Neal's basketball squad wallop Salem Baptist Christian by a tally of 64-26.
With the victory, O'Neal improves its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill (Durham, NC) to confront the Lion in a NCISAA Tri-TAC challenge on Friday, January 14. The Lion come into the challenge with a record of 3-6.
Next up, the Vikings confront the Westchester Country Day Wildcats (High Point, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 13. Salem Baptist Christian will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 39-28 non-league loss to Statesville Christian (Statesville, NC).
