New Mexico High School Basketball - Albuquerque Academy nips Los Alamos
January 11, 2022: Albuquerque, NM 87109 Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM), 48-43 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Albuquerque Academy upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Chargers host Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Huskies in a bout on Tuesday, January 18. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 7-3. Hope Christian won 67-52 in their recent non-league bout against Grants (Grants, NM)
Next up, the Hilltoppers play the Miyamura Patriots (Gallup, NM) in a bout, on Saturday, January 15. Los Alamos will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record.
