Connecticut High School Basketball - Northwestern Regional trounces Granby Memorial
January 11, 2023: Winsted, CT 06098 The Northwestern Regional Highlanders (Winsted, CT) basketball crushed the visiting Granby Memorial Bears (Granby, CT), 69-47 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Highlanders (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Terryville (Terryville, CT). The Kangaroos go into the Berkshire test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, Terryville walloped Housatonic-Wamogo (Falls Village, CT), 66-27, in a non-league test.
The Bears now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Canton for a North Central Connecticut contest on Friday, January 13. Granby Memorial will meet a Warriors team coming off a 56-40 league win over Rockville (Vernon, CT). The Warriors record now stands at 3-5.
