New Jersey High School Basketball - Newark Vocational fells Bergen Charter
January 11, 2024: Hackensack, NJ Newark Vocational Eagles (Newark, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Bergen Charter (Hackensack, NJ), 66-53 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Newark Vocational upgrades its record to 1-7 on the season. The Eagles travel to Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology (Paterson, NJ) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, January 12. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 10-5. Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology won 83-48 in their recent non-league bout against Eastern Christian (North Haledon, NJ)
Next up, the play the New Milford Knights (New Milford, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 15. Bergen Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 10-3 record after their 38-35 non-league loss to Ridgefield Park (Ridgefield Park, NJ).
