Illinois High School Basketball - Farmington overwhelms Bushnell-Prairie City
January 11, 2024: Farmington, IL 61531 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Farmington Farmers (Farmington, IL) and the visiting Bushnell-Prairie City Spartans (Bushnell, IL), saw Farmington's basketball squad wallop Bushnell-Prairie City by a tally of 63-40.
With the victory, Farmington improves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Farmers travel to Peoria Heights (Peoria Heights, IL) to play the Patriots in a Prairieland challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 9-9. Peoria Heights won 47-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Delavan (Delavan, IL)
Next up, the Spartans play the Havana Ducks (Havana, IL) in a Prairieland challenge, on Friday, January 19. Bushnell-Prairie City will attempt to improve on its 8-12 season record. The Ducks come into the challenge with a 5-14 record after their 56-43 non-league loss to Illini Central (Mason City, IL).
