January 11, 2024: St. Augustine, FL 32084 The California School for the Deaf-Riverside Cubs (Riverside, CA) basketball knocked off the host Florida School for the Deaf & Blind Dragons (St. Augustine, FL), 55-35 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Cubs (8-7) will now prepare for their test against Model Secondary School for the Deaf (Washington, DC). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, Model Secondary School for the Deaf notched a victory over California School for the Deaf (Fremont, CA), 54-30, in a non-league test.
The Dragons now own a 0-11 record. They play next when they travel to Parsons Christian Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 16. Florida School for the Deaf & Blind will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 77-45 league loss to Harvest Community (Jacksonville, FL). The Lions record now stands at 2-7.
