The Council Rock South Golden Hawks basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting North Penn Knights to 45 in the Golden Hawks non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Golden Hawks now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pennridge for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 16. Council Rock South will meet a Rams team coming off a 57-45 non-league loss to Council Rock North (Newtown, PA). The Rams record now stands at 3-10.

The Knights (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Bensalem (Bensalem, PA). The Fighting Owls enter the non-league contest with a 13-1 record. In their last contest, Bensalem ran past Wissahickon (Ambler, PA), 63-55, in a non-league contest.
