South Dakota High School Basketball - Crow Creek nips Mobridge-Pollock
January 11, 2024: Mobridge, SD 57601 Crow Creek Chieftains (Stephan, SD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Mobridge-Pollock Tigers (Mobridge, SD), 60-55 in a league bout.
With the win, Crow Creek upgrades its record to 2-7 on the season. The Chieftains travel to Tiospa Zina (Agency Village, SD) to play the Wambdi in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Wambdi go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Tiospa Zina lost 71-44 in their recent league bout against Groton (Groton, SD)
Next up, the Tigers play the McLaughlin Mustangs (McLaughlin, SD) in a A Region 6 bout, on Thursday, January 18. Mobridge-Pollock will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 53-45 non-league win over Crow Creek (Stephan, SD).
