Munising Mustangs (Munising, MI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Forest Park Trojans (Crystal Falls, MI), 47-46 in a league bout.

With the victory, Munising upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Carney-Nadeau (Carney, MI) to play the Wolves in a Central Upper Peninsula bout on Monday, January 15. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 4-9. Carney-Nadeau won 59-45 in their recent non-league bout against Mid Peninsula (Rock, MI)
