Maine High School Basketball - Kennebunk holds off Fryeburg
January 11, 2024: Kennebunk, ME 04043 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Kennebunk Rams (Kennebunk, ME) and the visiting Fryeburg Raiders (Fryeburg, ME), saw Kennebunk's basketball squad hold off Fryeburg by a tally of 57-53.
With the victory, Kennebunk improves its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Biddeford (Biddeford, ME) to confront the Tigers in a A South challenge on Monday, January 15. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 2-7. Biddeford lost 75-63 in their recent league challenge against Noble (Berwick, ME)
Next up, the Raiders confront the Cape Elizabeth Capers (Cape Elizabeth, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 15. Fryeburg will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Capers come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 69-50 league loss to Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME).
