Harrison Huskies (Harrison, NY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Rye Garnets (Rye, NY), 49-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Harrison upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Huskies host Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, NY) to clash with the Knights in a Section 1 Conference 1B bout on Saturday, January 13. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Mount Vernon lost 64-60 in their recent league bout against New Rochelle (New Rochelle, NY)

Next up, the Garnets clash with the Hastings Yellow Jackets (Hastings on Hudson, NY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Rye will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record.
