The Hawaii Prep Ka Makani basketball team (Kamuela, HI), was routed 55-29 in Thursday's non-league bout with the host Pahoa Daggers (Pahoa, HI)

With the win, Pahoa upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Daggers travel to Honoka'a (Honoka'a, HI) to clash with the Dragons in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 5-4.

Next up, the Ka Makani clash with the Kamehameha Hawai'i Warriors (Kea'au, HI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Hawaii Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 9-2 record after their 64-41 league win over Konawaena (Kealakekua, HI).
