Superior Central Cougars (Eben Junction, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host North Dickinson Nordics (Felch, MI), 37-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Superior Central upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Cougars travel to Chassell (Chassell, MI) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 6-3.

Next up, the Nordics clash with the Norway Knights (Norway, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 15. North Dickinson will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record.
