January 11, 2024: Stillwater, MN 55082 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Stillwater Ponies (Stillwater, MN) and the visiting North Polars (North St. Paul, MN), saw Stillwater's basketball squad wallop North by a tally of 68-39.
With the victory, Stillwater improves its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Ponies host White Bear Lake (White Bear Lake, MN) to encounter the Bears in a AAAA Section 4 test on Tuesday, January 16. The Bears go into the test with a record of 0-12. White Bear Lake lost 73-56 in their recent league test against Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, MN)
The Polars now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Hill-Murray for a AAA Section 4 test on Wednesday, January 17. North will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 77-75 non-league win over Two Rivers (Mendota Heights, MN). The Pioneers record now stands at 6-5.
