Connecticut High School Basketball - Cromwell over Old Lyme
January 11, 2024: Cromwell, CT 06416 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Cromwell Panthers (Cromwell, CT) and the visiting Old Lyme Wildcats (Old Lyme, CT), saw Cromwell's basketball squad overcome Old Lyme by a tally of 44-25.
With the victory, Cromwell improves its record to 2-8 on the campaign. The Panthers host Westbrook (Westbrook, CT) to play the Knights in a Shoreline challenge on Wednesday, January 17. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 1-7. Westbrook lost 36-25 in their recent league challenge against Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT)
Next up, the Wildcats play the North Branford Thunderbirds (North Branford, CT) in a Shoreline challenge, on Saturday, January 13. Old Lyme will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 67-37 league win over Hale Ray (Moodus, CT).
