In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Herron Achaeans basketball team scored a good 60-41 triumph over the Indianapolis Washington Continentals.

In their next game, the Achaeans meet the Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory Braves (Indianapolis, IN) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 13. Herron will attempt to better on its 15-5 season record. The Braves enter the match with a 12-6 record after their 47-38 non-league win over Bethesda Christian (Brownsburg, IN).
