Florida High School Basketball - Tavares fells Hope Academy
January 11, 2024: Groveland, FL 34736 Tavares Bulldogs (Tavares, FL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hope Academy Trojan Tigers (Groveland, FL), 51-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Tavares upgrades its record to 3-8 on the season. The Bulldogs host South Lake (Groveland, FL) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 8-7. South Lake won 49-33 in their recent non-league bout against East Ridge (Clermont, FL)
Next up, the Trojan Tigers clash with the Wade Christian Academy (Melbourne, FL) in a Central Florida Christian bout, on Friday, January 12. Hope Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 62-31 non-league loss to City of Life Christian Academy (Kissimmee, FL).
