Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Metlakatla Chiefs (Metlakatla, AK) and the visiting Nikiski Bulldogs (Nikiski, AK), saw Metlakatla's basketball squad wallop Nikiski by a tally of 60-39.

With the victory, Metlakatla improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Bethel (Bethel, AK) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 12. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Bethel won 58-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Homer (Homer, AK)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Homer Mariners (Homer, AK) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 12. Nikiski will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Mariners come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 58-48 non-league loss to Bethel (Bethel, AK).
