Arizona High School Basketball - Notre Dame Prep overwhelms Mountain Pointe

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Notre Dame Prep Saints (Scottsdale, AZ) and the host Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ), saw Notre Dame Prep's basketball squad wallop Mountain Pointe by a tally of 66-27.

With the victory, Notre Dame Prep improves its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Saints host Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ) to play the Falcons in a 5A Northeast Valley challenge on Friday, January 12. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 5-9. Cactus Shadows lost 43-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ)

Next up, the Pride play the Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ) in a 5A San Tan challenge, on Friday, January 12. Mountain Pointe will attempt to improve on its 0-14 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 12-3 record after their 79-28 non-league win over Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, AZ).
