South Dakota High School Basketball - Parkston can't hold off Wagner
January 11, 2024: Wagner, SD 57380 The Wagner Red Raiders basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Parkston Trojans to 58 in the Red Raiders league victory on Thursday.
The Red Raiders now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lyman for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 13. Wagner will battle a Raiders team coming off a 75-49 non-league win over Stanley County (Fort Pierre, SD). The Raiders record now stands at 7-0.
The Trojans (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Sioux Falls Christian (Sioux Falls, SD). The Chargers come into the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Sioux Falls Christian edged Dell Rapids (Dell Rapids, SD), 63-30, in a league contest.
