January 11, 2024: Natchitoches, LA 71457 Wimberley Texans (Wimberley, TX) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Natchitoches Central Chiefs (Natchitoches, LA), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Texans confront the Weatherford Kangaroos (Weatherford, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 12. Wimberley will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Kangaroos enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 1-1 non-league Captain Shreve (Shreveport, LA).
The Chiefs now possess a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Northwood for a Division II District 1 challenge on Thursday, January 18.
