The Grand Junction Tigers basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Grand Valley Cardinals to 37 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Palisade for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 13. Grand Junction will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 60-57 non-league loss to Coal Ridge (New Castle, CO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.

The Cardinals (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Meeker (Meeker, CO). The Cowboys enter the contest with a 2-0 record.
