California High School Basketball - James Logan nips Newark Memorial
January 11, 2024: Union City, CA 94587 James Logan Colts (Union City, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Newark Memorial Cougars (Newark, CA), 67-60 in a league bout.
With the win, James Logan upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Colts travel to Moreau Catholic (Hayward, CA) to play the Mariners in a bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Mariners go into the bout with a record of 17-0.
Next up, the Cougars play the Mission San Jose Warriors (Fremont, CA) in a bout, on Saturday, January 13. Newark Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 40-38 league loss to American (Fremont, CA).
