Maryland High School Basketball - Wise overwhelms Northwestern
January 11, 2024: Upper Marlboro, MD 20772 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Wise Pumas (Upper Marlboro, MD) and the visiting Northwestern Wildcats (Hyattsville, MD), saw Wise's basketball squad wallop Northwestern by a count of 69-23.
With the victory, Wise upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Pumas travel to DuVal (Lanham, MD) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. DuVal won 67-26 in their recent league challenge against High Point (Beltsville, MD)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Suitland Rams (Forestville, MD) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Northwestern will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
