Northwood Falcons (Shreveport, LA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Minden Crimson Tide (Minden, LA), 4-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Falcons face the Haughton Buccaneers (Haughton, LA) in a Division II District 1 challenge, on Friday, January 12. Northwood will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Buccaneers enter the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 3-1 league win over Parkway (Bossier City, LA).

The Crimson Tide now have a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Huntington for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 16. Minden will face a Raiders team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over North Caddo (Vivian, LA). The Raiders record now stands at 1-2.
