Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Archbishop Wood holds off Cathedral Prep
January 11, 2025: Erie, PA 16501 The Archbishop Wood Vikings basketball team scored 63 points and limited the host Cathedral Prep Ramblers to 62 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Vikings now possess a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Cardinal O'Hara for a Philadelphia Catholic game on Friday, January 17. Archbishop Wood will confront a Lions team coming off a 59-52 league loss to West Catholic (Philadelphia, PA). The Lions record now stands at 10-4.
With the loss, Cathedral Prep falls to 8-7 on the campaign. The Ramblers host Meadville (Meadville, PA) to confront the Bulldogs in a District 10 Region 7 game on Friday, January 17. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 9-2. Meadville lost 72-70 in their recent non-league game against Grove City (Grove City, PA)
