The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Augusta Christian Lions (Martinez, GA) and the visiting Fox Creek Predators (North Augusta, SC), observed Augusta Christian's basketball team knock off Fox Creek by a score of 86-75.

The Lions (17-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Hammond (Columbia, SC). The Skyhawks come into the SCISA 4A Region I challenge with a 9-2 record. In their last challenge, Hammond prevailed over Curtis Baptist (Augusta, GA), 73-27, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Predators encounter the McCormick Chiefs (McCormick, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 13. Fox Creek will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 76-68 league win over Thornwell (Clinton, SC).
