California High School Basketball - Centennial thwarts Oxnard
January 11, 2025: Corona, CA 92881 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Centennial Huskies (Corona, CA) and the visiting Oxnard Yellowjackets (Oxnard, CA), observed Centennial's basketball team knock off Oxnard by a score of 73-61.
The Huskies (9-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Norco (Norco, CA). The Cougars come into the Big VIII challenge with a 7-14 record. In their last challenge, Norco prevailed over Entrepreneur (Fontana, CA), 94-32, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets encounter the Dos Pueblos Chargers (Goleta, CA) in a Channel challenge, on Wednesday, January 15. Oxnard will attempt to improve on its 13-5 season record.
