Virginia High School Basketball - Redeemer Classical can't hold off Covenant Christian Academy
January 11, 2025: Warrenton, VA 20187 Covenant Christian Academy Golden Eagles (Warrenton, VA) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Redeemer Classical Griffins (Harrisonburg, VA), 64-62 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Covenant Christian Academy advances its record to 4-2 on the year. The Golden Eagles host Ad Fontes Academy (Centreville, VA) to face the Falcons in a Northern Virginia match on Monday, January 13. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 1-5. Ad Fontes Academy lost 46-38 in their recent non-league match against Trinity at Meadow View (Falls Church, VA)
The Griffins now own a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Varsity Opponent for a non-league match on Saturday, January 11.
