California High School Basketball - Crystal Springs Uplands holds off University Prep Academy

The Crystal Springs Uplands Gryphons basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting University Prep Academy Golden Eagles to 53 in the Gryphons non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Gryphons now have a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Priory for a West Bay challenge on Tuesday, January 14. Crystal Springs Uplands will battle a Panthers team coming off a 67-56 non-league win over Damien (Honolulu, HI). The Panthers record now stands at 10-3.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles battle the The Nueva School Mavericks (San Mateo, CA) in a Private School - Bay challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. University Prep Academy will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a 1-12 record after their 43-40 non-league loss to Pacific Bay Christian (Pacifica, CA).
