The Exeter Township Eagles basketball squad (Reading, PA), was nudged 68-66 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host William Penn Bearcats (York, PA)

With the victory, William Penn advances its record to 9-5 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Central York (York, PA) to meet the Panthers in a York-Adams 1 battle on Wednesday, January 15. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 9-1.

The Eagles now own a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Governor Mifflin for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 14. Exeter Township will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 64-53 league win over Reading (Reading, PA). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-3.
