The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the St. Andrew's Lions (Savannah, GA) and the visiting Hilton Head Island Seahawks (Hilton Head Island, SC), observed St. Andrew's's basketball team edge Hilton Head Island by a score of 61-58.

The Lions (13-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Frederica Academy (St. Simons Island, GA). The come into the GIAA AAAA/AAA District 2 challenge with a 11-2 record. In their last challenge, Frederica Academy edged Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA), 43-28, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Seahawks encounter the May River Sharks (Bluffton, SC) in a AAAA Region 6 challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Hilton Head Island will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Sharks come into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 64-56 league win over Bishop England (Charleston, SC).
