Alaska High School Basketball - Juneau-Douglas can't hold off Palmer
January 11, 2025: Palmer, AK 99645 Palmer Moose (Palmer, AK) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears (Juneau, AK), 66-64 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Palmer advances its record to 6-0 on the year. The Moose travel to Colony (Palmer, AK) to face the Knights in a 4A Northern Lights match on Tuesday, January 14. The Knights enter the match with a record of 4-4. Colony lost 63-56 in their recent league match against Wasilla (Wasilla, AK)
The Crimson Bears now own a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Colony for a non-league match on Thursday, January 16.
