The Natchitoches Central Chiefs basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host Southside Sharks to 61 in the Chiefs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Chiefs now have a 16-7 record. They play next when they travel to Ebarb for a non-league game on Thursday, January 16.

With the loss, Southside falls to 14-13 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to Lafayette Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA) to confront the Knights in a non-league game on Monday, January 13.
