January 11, 2025: Wayland, IA 52654 The WACO Warriors (Wayland, IA) basketball crushed the visiting New London Tigers (New London, IA), 70-39 in Saturday's league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Pekin for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 14. WACO will play a Panthers team coming off a 59-49 non-league loss to Sigourney (Sigourney, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-5.
With the loss, New London falls to 0-12 on the campaign. The Tigers host Van Buren County (Keosauqua, IA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 3-8. Van Buren County lost 94-54 in their recent non-league bout against Notre Dame (Burlington, IA)
