Sitka Wolves (Sitka, AK) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting North Pole Patriots (North Pole, AK), 68-59 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Sitka advances its record to 6-0 on the year. The Wolves host Valdez (Valdez, AK) to face the Buccaneers in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 15. The Buccaneers enter the match with a record of 1-3. Valdez lost 61-54 in their recent non-league match against Lathrop (Fairbanks, AK)

The Patriots now own a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Valley for a 4A Mid Alaska match on Tuesday, January 14. North Pole will face a Wolf Pack squad coming off a 61-54 non-league loss to Grace Christian (Anchorage, AK). The Wolf Pack record now stands at 5-4.
