January 11, 2025: Roseburg, OR 97470 Umpqua Valley Christian Monarchs (Roseburg, OR) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad rout the visiting Riddle Irish (Riddle, OR), 74-44 in a league battle.
With the victory, Umpqua Valley Christian advances its record to 11-2 on the year. The Monarchs travel to Perrydale (Amity, OR) to meet the Pirates in a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 15. The Pirates enter the battle with a record of 3-10.
The Irish now own a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Powers for a 1A Skyline battle on Thursday, January 16. Riddle will meet a Cruisers squad coming off a 47-32 league loss to Days Creek (Days Creek, OR). The Cruisers record now stands at 3-8.
