Minnesota High School Basketball - St. Francis trounced by Rocori
January 11, 2025: Cold Spring, MN 56320 Rocori Spartans (Cold Spring, MN) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting St. Francis Fighting Saints (St. Francis, MN), 60-24 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Rocori advances its record to 4-8 on the year. The Spartans travel to St. Cloud Tech (St. Cloud, MN) to face the Tigers in a AAA Section 8 match on Tuesday, January 14. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 2-9. St. Cloud Tech won 51-42 in their recent non-league match against Simley (Inver Grove Heights, MN)
The Fighting Saints now own a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Monticello for a AAA Section 5 match on Tuesday, January 14. St. Francis will face a Magic squad coming off a 93-57 league win over Big Lake (Big Lake, MN). The Magic record now stands at 9-3.
