New Mexico High School Basketball - Walatowa Charter overwhelmed by Sandia Prep
January 11, 2025: Jemez Pueblo, NM 87024 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Sandia Prep Sundevils (Albuquerque, NM) basketball team overwhelmed the host Walatowa Charter Cougars (Jemez Pueblo, NM), by a margin of 76-26.
The Sundevils (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Legacy Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Silverbacks go into the non-league contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Legacy Academy smashed Cottonwood Classical Prep (Albuquerque, NM), 53-38, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars confront the Coronado Leopards (Gallina, NM) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Walatowa Charter will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record.
