Illinois High School Basketball - Wheaton North overwhelms Wheeling
January 11, 2025: Wheaton, IL 60187 The Wheaton North Falcons basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Wheeling Wildcats to 47 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Falcons now have a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Park for a DuKane game on Friday, January 17. Wheaton North will confront a Lancers team coming off a 47-43 non-league loss to Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Lancers record now stands at 6-12.
With the loss, Wheeling falls to 8-10 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Palatine (Palatine, IL) to confront the Pirates in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 9-8. Palatine lost 48-42 in their recent non-league game against Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL)
