California High School Basketball - Clayton Valley Charter overwhelms Pittsburg
January 11, 2025: Concord, CA 94521 The Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles basketball team scored 78 points and limited the visiting Pittsburg Pirates to 33 in the Ugly Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Ugly Eagles now possess a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Miramonte for a game on Monday, January 13. Clayton Valley Charter will play a Matadors team coming off a 56-49 league loss to Campolindo (Moraga, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 9-6.
With the loss, Pittsburg falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Heritage (Brentwood, CA) to play the Patriots in a game on Tuesday, January 14. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 10-4. Heritage won 64-23 in their recent league game against Deer Valley (Antioch, CA)
