January 11, 2025: Alex, OK 73002 The Alex Longhorns (Alex, OK) basketball crushed the visiting Calumet Chieftains (Calumet, OK), 49-17 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Longhorns now possess a 9-2 record. They play next when they host Amber-Pocasset for a Grady County bout on Tuesday, January 14. Alex will play a Panthers team coming off a 57-54 non-league loss to Lookeba-Sickles (Lookeba, OK). The Panthers record now stands at 10-1.
With the loss, Calumet falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Chieftains host Gracemont (Gracemont, OK) to play the Lions in a Washita Valley bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 2-12. Gracemont lost 60-11 in their recent non-league bout against Southwest Covenant (Yukon, OK)
