Oklahoma High School Basketball - Empire fells Burns Flat-Dill City
January 11, 2025: Burns Flat, OK 73624 The Empire Bulldogs basketball team scored 52 points and limited the host Burns Flat-Dill City Eagles to 36 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now have a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Velma-Alma for a Oilfield game on Tuesday, January 14. Empire will confront a Comets team coming off a 38-26 league loss to Wilson (Wilson, OK). The Comets record now stands at 4-7.
With the loss, Burns Flat-Dill City falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host Navajo (Altus, OK) to confront the Indians in a Shortgrass game on Tuesday, January 14. The Indians go into the game with a record of 9-4. Navajo won 64-58 in their recent non-league game against Fletcher (Fletcher, OK)
