Iowa High School Basketball - Centerville overwhelms Moravia
January 11, 2025: Centerville, IA 52544 The Centerville Big Reds/Redettes basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Moravia Mohawks to 23 in the Big Reds/Redettes non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Big Reds/Redettes now have a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Washington for a non-league game on Monday, January 13. Centerville will confront a Demons team coming off a 39-34 non-league loss to Tipton (Tipton, IA). The Demons record now stands at 3-8.
With the loss, Moravia falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Mohawks travel to Orient-Macksburg (Orient, IA) to confront the Bulldogs in a Bluegrass game on Tuesday, January 14. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 4-3. Orient-Macksburg lost 51-36 in their recent league game against Ankeny Christian Academy (Ankeny, IA)
