Oregon High School Basketball - Elgin crushes Four Rivers
January 11, 2025: Elgin, OR 97827 The Elgin Huskies (Elgin, OR) basketball crushed the visiting Four Rivers Falcons (Ontario, OR), 49-20 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Huskies now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Union for a 1A Old Oregon bout on Thursday, January 16. Elgin will play a Bobcats team coming off a 52-15 league win over Pine Eagle (Halfway, OR). The Bobcats record now stands at 14-1.
With the loss, Four Rivers falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Falcons host Grant Union (John Day, OR) to play the Prospectors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Prospectors go into the bout with a record of 7-8. Grant Union lost 53-18 in their recent league bout against Weston-McEwen (Athena, OR)
